FROM OUR BLOG
I recently attended the Our Art, Our Region, Our Time exhibition at the Alexander Gallery in Fayetteville, AR where two of my paintings are hanging until December 20. It's a really nice exhibition of regional art featuring a wide range of media. Among the well-presented works featured are video, sculpture, oil, acrylic, pencil, ceramic, photography, and jewelry.
During the years I lived in California, and after reading several Tony Hillerman novels, I enjoyed many trips through the southwest with its spectacular natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. While visiting various pueblos and archeological sites, I developed a deep reverence for native culture.
We're introducing a new line of THUNDERBOT clothing for children from 3 months up. Inspired by my small collection of windup toys, THUNDERBOT makes a lot of noise while stomping around the house but is a well meaning and happy character.
Trained in illustration, Denise's work is as varied as her interests. Colorful sci-fi illustrations and down-to-earth botanical watercolors flow equally from her fertile imagination.
