I recently attended the Our Art, Our Region, Our Time exhibition at the Alexander Gallery in Fayetteville, AR where two of my paintings are hanging until December 20. It's a really nice exhibition of regional art featuring a wide range of media. Among the well-presented works featured are video, sculpture, oil, acrylic, pencil, ceramic, photography, and jewelry.
There are 102 works by 87 artists on exhibit at the show and I'm honored that two of my paintings are included. There was a huge submission of 659 pieces by 371 artists for this third iteration of the now annual show.
The gallery put together a nice write up PDF for me. If you visit their website here, you can see the catalog of artists. Click on the artists name and you'll be taken to a PDF with photos of the work on display and information about the artist.
The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 11am-2pm and Thursday through Saturday evenings from 5pm-8pm. If you're in the area, please take the time to drop in and view the artwork. You'll be impressed with the skill and variety of our regional artists.
Oh by the way, one of my two pieces has sold already. When you visit, you can tell which artworks have sold by the red dot on the art identifier signs.
